Online vs In-Clinic Ayurvedic Consultation: Which Should You Choose?

The short answer

Choose an online consultation if convenience matters most or there is no clinic near you; choose an in-clinic visit if you want an in-person assessment, such as pulse examination, and face-to-face guidance. Many people start online and visit a clinic later, or the other way round. At Guduchi Ayurveda, both are with a BAMS-qualified Ayurvedic physician.

Online consultation may suit you when…

  • There is no Guduchi clinic in your city.
  • You have a busy schedule or find travelling difficult.
  • You already have recent reports to share and mainly want guidance on diet and routine.

In-clinic consultation may suit you when…

  • You are new to Ayurveda and want the full in-person assessment.
  • You prefer meeting your doctor face to face.
  • A clinic is within easy reach of home or work.

Using both

The two work well together: an in-clinic first visit for a full assessment, then online follow-ups — or start online and visit the clinic when convenient. Either way, keep your treating doctor informed.

Frequently asked questions

Is an online Ayurvedic consultation as good as visiting a clinic?

For history, reports and lifestyle guidance, online consultations work well. An in-clinic visit adds in-person examination, which some people and physicians prefer, especially for a first visit.

What should I keep ready for a consultation?

Your recent blood-sugar readings and lab reports, the list of medicines you take, and notes on your diet, sleep and daily routine.

Will the Ayurvedic doctor change my diabetes medicines?

No. Guduchi's physicians work alongside your existing treatment. Any change to prescribed medication is a decision for your treating doctor.
